Plus Size Vintage Fashion

Plus Size blogger Nina writes her blog Nina Wolves on Plus Size Fashion, outfits and lifestyle. The 24-year-old has told me why she blogs where they shop what the bravest was, what she has done so far, and more. The Plus Size blog is for Münchnerin not only a passion, but has become a way of life.

Dear Nina, why do you blog? And what are you doing otherwise (if you do not blogging)?

Nina: For several years I regularly read blogs and am 2 years ago encountered some Plus Size blogger. Above all, the American blogger “Tanesha Awasthi” (Girl with Curves) has inspired me to live out my love of fashion in the form of a Plus Size blogs. Otherwise, I work as an executive assistant in a large firm control. Absolute Kontrastprogramm, but makes me it great fun and I have great colleagues!

How would you define your fashion style?

Nina: I would classify my fashion style rather under classic / girlish. My wardrobe is full of cardigans and sweaters. I love everything playful, top, tunic, tunics and babydoll dresses.

From whom or from what you can inspire you for your own Ouftits?

Nina: It’s probably more my whole environment, the stores, magazines, bloggers, stars and starlets. I usually find a “part” that convinced me and this I try to combine so that it fits best for me and my character.

What is your favorite autumn look / favorite part?

Nina: This fall I tidy shopped in ponchos and capes. The throws are ideal and fully for the transitional period in the trend!

In which online store you can buy?

Nina: I am the absolute online shopping freak! I buy everything online and anywhere. To my favorite stores but include Asos and Zalando, since the selection is very large and you can also buy from different brands. Otherwise I look regularly by all shops and buy what I currently like. As an old vintage lovers I am also happy to ebay go.

There must-haves in your wardrobe that should have every woman?
For me, the must-haves are constantly changing, and the list is long, but some of which I have only recently discovered for me, is the Shaping pants. This ugly, flesh-colored parts are just great! Not only for Curvy Ladies.

Things are so few in the Plus Size industry. What you still lack in fashion for large sizes?

Nina: A little more normalcy!I think it’s great that the selection of shops, brands and designers in the plus range continues to grow, but I would hope that even the most common brands produce slightly larger. With a 46/48 I am so somewhere between where Plus Size starts and “normal” stops. The INTERNETAGES has, for example, now the regular collection of plus size vintage cardigan sweaters at 44, I can not understand, because the 46 was always sold out first. Instead there is a 3sqm large H & M department (in Munich, she really is not greater) with a very select collection. Zara has from time to time a XL, which is always sold out very quickly. Most getrag most clothing size is 40/42, because it can not be but that is at 44 deadline.

What was for you the bravest thing you’ve ever done?

Nina: Hm.. I guess it has already demanded a lot of courage for me to start a Plus Size blog. At least in the early days. I come from a small village where everyone knows each other and you already makes a plus size blog something very unusual. Since I had a fear that one encounters incomprehension or stupid comments coming. Meanwhile, I’m there but come to nothing more.

How would you describe your life in 3 words?

Nina: challenging, messy, varied
