How To Enjoy Summer As A Fat Girl

There is English version down below! I know that this doesn’t only apply to fat girls, but as this is a blog from a fat girl and all of this is based on my experience, I feel that title is appropriated. Yes, I know it applies not only to fat girl, but because this is a blog of a fat girl and is based on my personal experience, I think that the title is so well chosen.

For a pretty long time, I found summer pretty much sucks. I remember that it started something with 17 or 18, as I felt as bad as never before with me and my body. I was suddenly no longer go to any summer clothes in the outdoor swimming pool, and not with naked legs in the Park. During the last few years I’ve befriended me again with the summer and the whole thing has become a major entspantere situation. And the things that I don’t like in the summer are no longer directly connected, I only want to hide me as fat man. All tips that I can give you, so that you can enjoy you summer, no small wonders are, it’s not something that not just anyone has written up already at some point. But they have made a big difference for me:

Seriously, get rid of these! You can attract you so how you feel well and all that (which is the day überlegbst without a cooling pad between your breasts to clamp the way, incredibly well on a hot day!). There are no rules for how much is skin or body allowed to show if you have exceeded a certain weight class. If people in your environment or your surroundings feel disturbed as a result, you want to hide your body not under many layers of fabric, then that’s their problem. You want to pull leg? Perfect! You want to wear a strappy dress? Go for it! CropTop, Bikini, shorts? Do this, because if the others want to stare, then they should be the least value. You owe to look anyone in the eyes.

2. don’t be afraid before the sweating.
Sweating is not great, but we be honest we do it all. No matter how thin it is, everyone comes to the point where the heat is so overpowering, that everyone sweats. You’re sweating your makeup down and between your breasts, among the poor and actually everywhere. A splash of your favorite body spray, jump in the shower, in really hot weather, a warm shower is almost more beautiful, try to keep you as possible so cool, but if nothing works, then remains just one: sweat it out!

3. let your skin feel the Sun and the wind.
Sounds so kinda cheesy, but for me it was a revelation this summer anyway. How long I forbade my body to bask in the Sun? Cold pool water to feel? I know it is not easy, and some of you feel enough, as if they were not “brave”, but is a fact that nothing to do with courage to do that, because you have every damn right to enjoy the summer. Maybe you didn’t start through in the swimming pool, but a beast of time on the balcony or in the cards. Wear short dresses or just nothing, while home to do his thing and no one sees you. Lie down in the garden and the Sun show your belly!

These are my three great tips, but there’s still a whole lot more, what occurs to me: eat as much ice cream as you can. Have a few bottles of water in the refrigerator.Buy yourself a nice summer scent that you fresh and light feel. Or do your own cooling body spray. Carrying light materials contain no or little plastic. Go swimming early in the morning, when the water is still fresh and the swimming pool is empty. Freeze your favorite fruits in the refrigerator compartment. Pass on great makeup and takes dear sunglasses and a killer lipstick. Buy summer clothes that make you feel like a goddess, I love Maxi dresses for example. Peppermint shower gel is a must! Salty snacks back fill the sweat out salt. Invest in things that protect your thigh so that you you not sore run as special undies with long legs or creams and sprays.

For quite a long time I loathed summer. Like really, really hated it. This started around the age of 17 or 18 when I felt the most miserable about myself and my body. I didn’t want to go to the pool, I didn’t want to swim or lay in the Park or put summer clothes on. Through the last years summer has become a much more relaxed situation for me, there are still things I don’t like, but most of them aren’t connected to the fact that I am fat and I want to hide myself. All of the following tips aren’t miracles, it’s nothing no one has ever done before, but for me they are the things that finally make me like summer a lot more again.

1. Forget all the “Dress for the body you have and not the body you want to have”-Bullshit!
Seriously forget it. You should always dress the way you feel comfortable and good with yourself. And so that you can survive 35°C in the shadows without having to carry an ice pack between your boobs all day (have you ever done that on a hot day? its amazing!). There are no rule for how much body you are allowed to show if you are over a certain weight. If people around you are annoyed by the fact that you don’t want to hide under layers of fabric, then that’s their problems not yours.You want to get your legs out? Fine! You want to wear a spagetti strap dress? Go for it! Crop top, bikini, Shorts? You do it, cause if people want stare, so make it worth their while. You don’t owe them anything.

2. Don’t be afraid to sweat.
Of cause sweating is not the nicest thing in the world, but fact is, we all do. No matter how skinny we are, at some point the heat is just so overwhelming that everyone starts to sweat. You will sweat your make up off and between your boobs, under your arms and actually just fucking everywhere. Take a spritz of your favourite body spray to cool down, have a refreshing shower if you have the time and option ( by the way having a warm shower on a really hot day sometimes feels a lot nicer). Try everything to keep cool, but if there is nothing for it, just literally sweat it out, cause everyone will do.

3. Let your skin enjoy the sun and the wind.
For some this might sound a bit cheesy, but for me it was some kind of revelation.How long did I deny my body to absorb the sun? To feel cool pool water? I know it’s not easy and some of you will feel like they just can’t, that they aren’t brave enough. But fact is, you don’t even have to be brave, cause it’s just fucking right to do so! And if you feel like you couldn’t cope with doing it at the local pool then start at your home. Wear a bikini around the house, on your balcony or in the garden.Wear short dresses or nothing at all and just do you thing, where no one can see you. Lay down in the garden and show your belly the sun, it really likes to see and feel it, trust me.

These are the three big tips, but there are a lot more thing I can think of like: Eat as much ice cream as you feel like. Always store some bottles of water in your fridge.Get a nice summery fragrance or bodyspay that makes you feel fresh and light. Or make your own cooling body spray, there are tons of recipes for that online. Wear light and flowly materials that don’t contain any plastic. Go swimming in the early morning when the local pool is still pretty empty. Buy lot of your favourite fruits and lightly freeze them. Take a pass on make up and just choose a killer lip color and your favourite sunglasses. Buy summer clothes that make you feel like a goddess, like flowy maxi dresses. Get yourself a bottle of peppermint shower gel.Eat salty things to get your sweated out salt back. Invest in some form of anti chub rub thingy, like comfortable under panties or a cream that protect your thighs
