The Canadian city of Toronto is the largest city in Canada for the population and the fourth largest in North America after Mexico City, New York City and Los Angeles. The Beaches
Here you may think you missed a translation, but the area is actually called The Beaches and consists of a long beach. Beaches are probably not something you associate with Toronto in the first place, but this is a really lovely place for the whole family. Here you can engage in kite flying, walking, a variety of sports activities or just sit and enjoy the place in one of the cafes in the area.
The Distillery District
According to Shopareview, this is a place that has appeared in quite a number of Hollywood movies. This is largely due to the lower cost of filming in Canada compared to the United States, but also because it is both a trendy and charming area that is well worth a visit. Here you will find both shopping in the many niche shops, trendy restaurants and several art galleries. The area got its name from the whiskey production that was conducted here before.
High Park
Are you looking for a place similar to Hyde Park in London or Central Park in New York? Then you have come to the right place if you have ended up in High Park. Here is everything you want from a centrally located park with a cosmopolitan feel; beautiful walking paths, restaurants and a small zoo. The park is somewhat hilly at times, so here you really get value for money if you want to train your fitness through running! High Park is incredibly beautiful and so scenic a city park can be.
Toronto Islands
Here, both entertainment and recreation are mixed in a functional way. If you do not want to take the flexible ferry out to the islands, you can advantageously paddle a kayak there instead. On the islands you can enjoy a wonderful view of Toronto and here are both restaurants, amusement park and nice beaches to pass the time with. In summer, of course, the place blooms a little extra and then it is grilled a little everywhere. If you have good visibility on a beautiful day, you can look over to the USA!
Eaton Center
Of course, a city as large as Toronto offers excellent shopping and at the Eaton Center, most people get their fill, with more than 320 stores on offer. The complex also contains hotels, a variety of eateries and a lot of other things for the whole family. Here you can sit down with a cup of coffee and just watch people. The Eaton Center is also close to many of the other attractions that Toronto has to offer.
